Sandown Lodge is a charming 19th Century Georgian Guest House, centrally situated in picturesque surroundings in Rondebosch, Cape Town. Directly opposite Newlands Cricket and Rugby Stadiums and the University of Cape Town are within walking distance. The Jamie shuttle bus to and from UCT has a pick up point outside our Guest House. Accommodation is offered in three light, spacious and well-appointed self-catering double suites, one of which is an Upstairs Suite, each with en-suite bathroom. Each double suite consists of a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge area and a kitchenette. The kitchenettes contain a microwave oven, 2 plate stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and all cutlery and crockery, to ensure convenient self catering for those wanting to. Each suite has its own private, separate entrance with secure off street parking and access to a secluded garden patio. All three suites are equipped with satellite TV and have access to Wireless Internet. Popular tourist attractions, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cavendish Square, Restaurants and the Baxter Theatre are a mere 10 minutes drive away. Cape Town International airport, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain and Robben Island are easily accessible and about a 15 minute drive away.

Close to the M5 freeway to Cape Town City Centre, Cavendish Square and the V&A Waterfront shopping centres. Mowbray, Rondebosch and Royal Cape Golf Courses are nearby. Easy access to Newlands Cricket and Rugby grounds.
