Sandown Lodge

Sandown Lodge is a charming 19th Century Georgian Guest House, centrally situated in picturesque surroundings in Rondebosch, Cape Town. Newlands Cricket ground and Rugby Stadiums and the University of Cape Town are within walking distance. The Jamie shuttle bus to and from UCT has a pick up point outside our Lodge.

Popular tourist attractions, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cavendish Square, Restaurants and the Baxter Theatre are a mere 10 minutes drive away.

Cape Town International airport, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain and Robben Island are easily accessible and about a 15 minute drive away.

The beaches and a number of top wine estates are a 20 - 30 minute drive away.

It has been said that if Cape Town were a dart board, Rondebosch would be the "bullseye". It's that central.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is offered in three light, spacious and well-appointed self-catering double suites, each with en-suite bathroom and one double room.

Each double suite consists of a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge area and a kitchenette. The kitchenettes contains everything to ensure convenient self catering for those wanting to.

Each suite has its own private, separate entrance with secure off street parking and access to a secluded garden patio. All suites are equipped with satellite TV and have access to Wireless Internet.

Two additional guests can be accommodated within the larger suites if required.

We also have our own water supply from our borehole on-site, and we have our own solar system so there is no load-shedding.
