Onverwacht is a quiet residential area near Gordon’s Bay in the Helderberg region of Cape Town, set between the dramatic Hottentots Holland Mountains and the scenic coastline of False Bay. Known for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, it offers visitors a relaxed base from which to explore the many natural and cultural attractions of the area.
The nearby coastal village of Gordon’s Bay is a major drawcard, with its sheltered beaches, picturesque harbour, waterfront restaurants and the popular Bikini Beach, known for its calm waters and family-friendly setting.
