Simon's Town is the naval base of South Africa so there is plenty of naval activity in the bay. There are activities such as kayaking in the bay or taking a boat trip to Seal Island and maybe see a Great White shark or two. The Penguin Colony at Boulder's Beach is close by. Cape Point is 20kms away along a very scenic route.
