The Potting Shed Guest House

Annamarie and David welcome you to The Potting Shed, offering bed and breakfast accommodation in the popular holiday town of Hermanus on Overberg / Whale Coast.  Enjoy personal service at this owner run establishment in the quaint town of Hermanus, only 1 hour away from Cape Town International airport.

Indulge yourself with bed & breakfast at our guest house, where hand-painted interiors provide an artistic and unique, personal touch. Or awake to the sound of waves crashing at our sea-facing, self-catering apartments (3kms from the Guest House).

The Guest House has been given a 3 - Star grading by the South African Tourism Grading Council.

The downstairs rooms at the guest house each have tea/coffee making facilities, flat screen DSTV, free WI- FI, safety deposit box, over-head fans, wall heaters, pool towels and an en-suite shower room. (Deluxe rooms have fridge, private patio area with braai).

Our upstairs studio room is accessed from a private entrance, and includes a kitchen area with microwave/grill, fridge, kettle & toaster, bathroom with shower& bath, full DSTV, WI-Fi, & air con for those hot summer nights. The private deck is spacious with 2 sun-loungers, an undercover seating area, & gas braai.

Breakfast at the Guest House boasts fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, toast, egg & bacon and variety of homemade goodies: pancakes, rusks, preserves & fresh baked bread, freshly squeezed juice (in season).

Guests are invited to enjoy the flood-lit pool area with sun-loungers, tables and chairs. They may also use the BBQ/braai, with utensils, glasses, crockery and cutlery provided on request.

The Potting Shed Guest House is ideally situated in a quiet side-street off Hermanus Main Road. Come and explore our town centre, restaurants, cliff paths and sea, all just a short walk away.
