Salt River Lodge

Salt River Lodge offers self catering accommodation in the popular holiday destination of Knysna and with only 4 cottages, we ensure it is not overcrowded. Each cottage sleeps 4 adults and 2 kids under 14 years. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything required for self catering needs which include a stove, oven, microwave oven, full sized fridge with freezer and proper braai facilities and linen. Flats can be fully serviced upon request.

Salt River Lodge is set in a supremely tranquil location, situated on the northern side of the lagoon with its natural ebb and flow of the tide. It is part of a natural bird sanctuary which includes the Knysna Lourie, Heron and the Egyptian Geese which often visit for a drink from the swimming pool.

Cottage 1: Ground level. Has a main bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and a sleeper couch in living area.

Cottage 2: Ground level. Has one double bed in the main bedroom, with 2 single beds in second bedroom and a double sleeper couch in the living room. Two bathrooms both with showers.

Cottage 3: Upper level. Double bed in main room, 3 single beds in second bedroom and double sleeper couch in living area. One bathroom with a shower.

Cottage 4: Upper level. 2 Bedrooms both with double beds, and a double sleeper couch in the living room. Two bathrooms, one with a bath and a shower and the other with shower.

Each flat has two TV's with DStv.

There is a swimming pool and a communal pool table for your convenience. Each unit has own braai facilities and stunning river view.
