Looking for a pet-friendly and child friendly getaway to the lovely town of De Kelders just outside Gansbaai?  Our fully equipped self-catering house offers two roomy and comfortable en-suite bedrooms with double beds.  Extra ‘trundle’ bed in lounge ideal for children.  Sleeps 4, maximum 6 (2 "trundle" beds suitable for children in the lounge).

The house is freestanding on the property and you will not share with anyone or with the owners.  Free Wi-Fi, Netflix, Showmax and other internet streaming TV channels, coffee and tea, Dolce Gusto and Nespresso coffee machines and a safe provided.  Gansbaai and the Overstrand area offers fantastic walking and hiking on the cliffs and in the indigenous fynbos mountains, birdwatching, shark cage diving, cave dwelling, whale watching, MTB, 4x4, National Parks and exceptional fishing spots.

The house is also equipped with an electric fence, alarms and beams, ice maker, washing machine, tumble dryer, air conditioners in both rooms and in the lounge, dishwasher, fully equipped kitchen and 90cm stove/oven, two raised dog beds and dog bowls and a huge dog kennel outside for your four-legged friend when you are out exploring.  Dogs are welcome in house and yard, but not on furniture please.  Two braai/BBQ areas – one inside and one outside on the porch - with all the braai tools provided.

Gansbaai offers several small shops and two big supermarkets to purchase all your groceries and braai wood.  The house contains beach towels, picnic plasticware, fold-up chairs and beach umbrellas for lovely days at the beach or exploring nearby Die Plaat.  Plenty of fictional novels and board games for those rainy days.  Gansbaai offers many pet-friendly restaurants.  Great nature, beach walking and hiking spots for humans and pets.   There is a green belt right behind the house for great dog walking, however it is requested that dogs are leashed in this area.   Plenty of safe parking inside the property, as well as a carport that fits two cars.  Removable shade nets are available to put up on the porch on hot summer days.

De Kelders is situated about 3 km from the quiet and quaint ocean village of Gansbaai, breath-taking beaches and unparalleled fishing spots.  In springtime, you don't have to go far to watch the playing dolphins and whales who come here to give birth in the quiet Walker Bay.  Spacious, safe, enclosed yard for children and pets.  Huge dog kennel for dogs if they are left alone for a while whilst you visit the beach, shops or Restaurants and many pet friendly restaurants in Gansbaai and surrounds. Beautiful view of Gansbaai mountain.  This house is perfect for that quick getaway out of the city - a mere two-hour drive from Cape Town.
