Ceol Na Mara offers a choice of 2 self catering options located right on the beach at Paternoster, on the Cape's West Coast.

You've discovered Paternoster - a paradise of miles of deserted white sand beach, spectacular sunsets, some of the best seafood on the West Coast, spring flowers, and the Cape Columbine nature reserve.

Paternoster remains a friendly working fishing village. In season, buy your crayfish from the local fisherman fresh off the boat. At any time of year, you can dine in one of the excellent restaurants. Sea kayaking, fishing, bird watching, golf, windsurfing and horse riding are all available nearby. Relaxation comes easily, leaving is the hardest part!

And right on the beach is our house, Ceol na Mara - Irish for Music of the Waves - and its adjoining flatlet - Ceoleen (Little Music). We've made sure that both properties are fully equipped, including hair driers, Hi-Fi and TV/DStv (please bring your own Multichoice card). Heating is by electric panels or gas fire. Hand towels, bath sheets and bedlinen are provided.

Ceol na Mara sleeps four to six. There's a queen-size sleighbed in the gallery and twin extra-long singles in the second bedroom. Sheepskins cover the floors and both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. A sleeper couch in the main living area can sleep a further two people.

Just imagine - whale watching or enjoying a romantic sundowner as you celebrate the spectacular sunset from the balcony, one of the largest in Paternoster - relaxing in the stunning, cosily furnished double volume living room with its open fireplace and original artwork by the renowned local artist, Karin Sell - sunbathing in the garden before taking the short private path to the beach - partying on the stoep eating crayfish and steaks cooked on the outdoor braai.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, deep freeze and electronic safe. There is an additional shower room.

Guests in Ceol na Mara have access to secure garage parking for one car and use of a washing machine, garden recliners and hammock chairs. A selection of DVD's is also available on request. We provide a complementary bag of braai wood.

Ceol na Mara has been awarded 3-stars by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

Ceoleen sleeps two to four and is perfect for a short break. There is one double bedroom and a sleeper couch in the main living area. The kitchen has a hob, microwave and fridge-freezer.

The balcony has views over the bay, and a mobile braai.
