Audrey's Vineyard Cottage & Homestead is on a working grape farm in the scenic Nuy Valley, at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountains between Worcester and Robertson on Route 62 and the Worcester Wine Route.

Unwind on the verandah with a glass of wine or cup of steaming coffee while watching the sun set over the vineyards, listening to the call of the guinea fowl or later the owls while admiring the crystal clear starry nights... a relaxing experience beyond compare where you have the opportunity to unwind and forget about everything.

Enjoy bird watching, walking or jogging on the farm, cycling or mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, fishing and river boat cruises amidst spectacular scenery. Award-winning wine-tasting & olives at nearby wine cellars and olive estates or eating out at the surrounding restaurants or pub close by.

Accommodation

The Homestead is the original Victorian farmhouse, built in 1892, under oak trees, alongside a dam and overlooking the vineyards. There are 5 bedrooms, sleeping 10 people (4 bathrooms, 2 en-suite). It has a large lounge with a fireplace and a big well equipped kitchen with both microwave and stove. Two bedrooms have double beds while the other three have twin beds /King size double beds.

  • Reservoir with fresh mountain water for swimming in at your own risk

There are a number of resident barn owls in the shed next door and the babies can be seen and heard at certain times of the year. Swallows return every summer to their "home" on the patio. Finches also love the oak trees at the reservoir for their nests.

The Cottage is a self-catering retreat also next to the vineyards, which has a lounge/ dining room with a fireplace and an enclosed patio. The well equipped kitchen has a microwave, stove, dishwasher & washing machine. There are 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and it can sleep 8 people. The Master Bedroom has a queen size double bed; the 2nd bedroom has a double bed; the 3rd bedroom has twin beds/King size double bed and the 4th bedroom, which is a walk through to the 3rd bedroom, has two single beds for children.

Pets need to be well trained, have their own sleeping blankets, do not jump onto furniture or sleep on beds/ couches and are "flea free". We reserve the right to hold you responsible for any damage caused by your pets. The pets may not be allowed to roam unaccompanied on the farm outside the enclosed back garden.
