Mooi Begin Guest Farm & Venue offers self catering accommodation on a beautiful 520ha farm in Heidelberg, Gauteng. The farm is just 8km off the N3 Highway between Johannesburg and Durban, on the Heidelberg South /Standerton R23 road. Mooi Begin Guest Farm & Venue (previously: Yesterday Today Tomorrow) is nestled in the beautiful Suikerbosrand hills and borders on the Suikerbos river - you can share the natural beauty of "Steynskraal" (a working farm) for a weekend or just stay over for the night.
We offer the following activities: hiking; mountain biking. You can also cool down in our dams. You can enjoy our abundant bird life, a variety of small game (steenbuck, duiker, blesbuck, warthog) and the clear night skies.
Sleep peacefully and safely in the neat two-bedroom/double bathroom stone house, with open plan - lounge/dining area/ fully equipped kitchen as well as another 2 x three quarter beds in the living area (sleeps 6). The 4 sleeper stone house has a neat bedroom with a single bathroom in the unit. The open plan has a lounge/dining area and separated area with another double bed. Fully fitted kitchen. We have various two sleepers - all with bathrooms separately in units and each with its own kitchenette - fully equipped for self catering.
The guest farm is 14km from the beautiful, historic town of Heidelberg, which is well worth a visit and where all amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, doctors, hospitals, etc. are readily available.
