| Each unit has a Key & Breakages refundable deposit of R500,00 with the exception of Lavender & Thatch units which are R700,00. No refund will be made if rooms have been smoked in. | |
| Day Vistors | |
| Please request, prior to booking, if you would like to have day visitors. Day visitors of guests pay an entrance fee of R100.00 per car and R50.00 per person. Day visitors are to vacate the property by 17:00. As we are limited in the number of day visitors that we are able to accommodate your request may be unsuccessful. | |

| We have a swimming pool, Braai facilities, fishing and Boat Trips on the river. Please make arrangements on booking with regard to our boat rides etc. Swimming in the river is not allowed. Heaven On Vaal provides self catering accommodation in Vaal Oewer, on the banks of the Vaal River in Gauteng.

Penthouse unit/Bridal Suite (Sleeps Max 2 People)
Our beautifully appointed Penthouse Apartment is built right on top of the world with a view that cannot be equalled anywhere on the river. The Penthouse has a King size Bed with a kitchen and a balcony. The en-suite bathroom has a Spa Bath for your personal pleasure. The Apartment is designed for an intimate get-away for two people and if you wish we will pamper you with breakfast (excluded price on application) in the Diner or served in the Penthouse.
The Cottage Family Unit
One bedroom unit with a small double sleeper couch in the kitchen/lounge area and one double bed in the bedroom. These rooms share a bathroom (bath & shower) and sleep 2 adults & 2 children OR 3 adults (heartbeats). This unit is set slightly further back from the river and the other accommodation and has a lovely view of the river. It has a patio and braai area. The unit is self-catering.
Sky Unit (Family Unit - not suitable for privacy for 2 couples)
One bedroom unit with en-suite bathroom (bath & shower), open plan kitchen and lounge area with two day beds. Fully self catering and can sleep up to 4 people (heartbeats). Double bed in the bedroom .
Sunrise Unit (Family Unit - not suitable for privacy for 2 couples)
One bedroom unit with en-suite bathroom (bath & shower), open plan kitchen and lounge area with two single day beds. Bedroom has double bed. Fully self catering and can sleep up to 4 people (heartbeats).
Lavender (Family Unit - Or suitable for privacy for 2 couples)
Two bedroom unit in which both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (showers), open plan kitchen lounge area with one double fold out bed and one single daybed. This unit is fully self catering and can sleep up to 7 people (heartbeats) sharing. This unit has a large balcony with braai facility. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other bedroom has a king size bed.
The Thatch (Family Unit - Not suitable for privacy as it is entirely open plan)
This unit is open plan with a double bed & 4 single beds with an area for the lounge/kitchen/dining. Shower & toilet. A huge balcony with braai. Right on the water. PLEASE NOTE: NO T.V.
Our Diner is available for hire for your special event when hiring the whole venue.

Plan Your Wedding at Heavenly Events Venue
Heavenly Events Venue next to Heaven on Vaal is a beautiful Riverside Facility that is able to cater for up to 200 guests.
The venue has a separate chapel that can accommodate 160 guests and has an indoor staircase that links it to the wedding venue.
Heavenly Events Venue at Heaven on Vaal has magnificent backdrops for your wedding photos both of the river, bush, gardens and beach sand on our island.
A waterfall cascades out of the rocks that form the backdrop to the main table. The Wedding venue includes draping of the Hall with fairy lights that shine through the draping. The Chapel windows are draped, white table cloths and white linen serviettes, white or black chair covers in the venue, crockery, cutlery, champagne glasses .
The Chapel is able to be tailored to suit your specific religious needs. Behind the chapel is a private room that is set up for the signing of the legal documents once the ceremony is over. The Chapel is linked to the reception venue by means of an internal staircase.
The venue has its own kitchen and toilets attached with a bar area, a raised platform for the main table and a dance floor.
We have a varied selection of menus that you can select from. We pride ourselves in being flexible with variations that you might want to make to our menus. A full private Cash Bar is available in the venue. You will need to advise us of how you would like the Bar managed, and whether you require any special beverages. No food or beverages are allowed to be brought onto the property.
Party Cruise: Heaven on Vaal is able to accommodate all cruises or tailormake a specific cruise to suit your personal needs. We host +- 1½ hours cruises, accommodating between 12 - 22 guests per cruise.
Do your own cruise in your boat and watch the fish jumping, birds roosting, legavaans sunning on the rocks or swimming by, monkeys, rock rabbits and the odd Kudu. You are welcome to bring your own boat or jet ski to enjoy on the river. Launching fees apply & all necessary documents to be copied & brought with eg. Skippers licence, craft worthiness.
Anglers using our venue must adopt a catch and release /no keep net policy. It is important to fish for the future so that future generations an also enjoy angling.

Nearby Attractions
Vredefort Dome: Just an half hour from Vaaloewer, we have our very own World Heritage Site. Just over 200kms in diameter, it was created when a giant meteorite struck the earth hundreds of years ago. The dome area is known for it’s unique beauty and consists of valleys, mountains and small ravines covered in lush green flora. It is rumoured that the last ripples from the effect of the meteorite are right here in Vaaloewer, hence the hills and canyon.
Parys: The town of Parys is situated about 35kms away from Vaaloewer, near the Dome. It is a quaint town on the banks of the Vaal River, which is known for it's antique and art shops, with it’s own "Artist's Walk" in the main street.
Emerald Casino: Half an hour away in the opposite direction you will find the Emerald Casino, on the banks of the Vaal River. There is an indoor adventure pool, bowling alley, putt putt course, and a zoo with game drives for the kids as well as adults.
Restaurants: There are many fabulous Restaurants in Parys, Vanderbijlpark and the Vaal Mall less than 30 minutes drive
